Staff Training in Vilnius
3 December 2021
From 10th to 12th November 2021, Vilnius Academy of Arts hosted staff training activities connected to the Plastic Justice project collaboration. Guests included educators from University of the Arts London, Elisava, Iceland University of the Arts, Royal Academy of Arts (KABK) and ELIA – European League of Institutes of the Arts.
The goal of the workshop was to establish a framework for the upcoming Teacher’s Guide and to develop teaching methods addressing issues of climate justice and microplastics, in particular for the art and design curriculum. Next to workshop activities, the programme included also a field trip to Plasta, one of the largest plastics recycling companies in Eastern Europe.
